Chesham's key service to buyers is the contact we have maintained with successful private companies during the many years of our existence across the entire spectrum of British commerce and industry, and thus our early knowledge of a specific company's willingness to consider a sale.
Each private company has unique attributes which make it a suitable acquisition candidate for a limited number of buyers. Products, markets, continuity of management, location, profitability, net asset position, the personalities of the owners and managers, price, willingness to accept shares rather than cash; the list is a lengthy one.

Only our close knowledge of a buyer's acquisition strategy and the personalities of its key executives, enables us to bring together successfully a potential buyer and seller.

When requested, Chesham will make a direct approach to the owner of a nominated company. This enables the potential acquirer to remain anonymous, whilst the owner considers the matter at a general level, even including, on one occasion, the question of the price at which he would become interested in considering a sale.
